Adjust Sight on 12 Gauge Benelli Nova Shotgun?

When I throw my gun up to my shoulder I always seem to aim a little high. I have heard you can adjust that somehow by shimming the stock or something. Is that possible? I am new to guns so I don't know very much yet. I basically want the barrel to be a little lower when I throw my gun up so everything is lined up. It is very comfortable when I throw the gun up and shoot so I thought maybe its possible to adjust the sight. Thanks.

1. There are adjustable cheek-pieces you can buy but can be a bit pricey. There are some cheaper versions you can buy that just slip over your buttstock and have different graduations to fit you better. Most of the trap shooters that I shoot with have the adjustable cheekpiece. Other than that, you might just have to get used to "floating the bead". Lock and load. Keep your powder dry.
2. get a second bead that would be halfway down the barrel...then connect the dots when you shoot and good to go
