How to saw off a 12 gauge pump?
Okay, so I own a Stevens model 70 something (sorry I can't remember what exact number, I'd look but it's at a friend's house currently) I bought it for around 200. I use it for hunting but now that I have my Mossberg 500 I decided to do something with that old gun and turn it into a sawed off. I never sawed off a shotgun before but if any of you have any pointers let me know. Side note, I have a sight rib on it. Also, should I saw it all the way back to the loading tube? Should I saw the stock off and jury rig me a pistol grip?

- as long as you file out the in side of the barrel there should be no problems even if you didnt you probably wouldnt have any problems but its a small risk you could destroy the end of the barrel and hurt your self or someone else. use a metal specific round file. also be careful because alot of states have a ban on them or a regulation on the amount of inches
- You have to keep the barrel at at least 18" and the overall length at 26" to be legal. Any less and its 10 years in the federal pen. As to how you do it, a hacksaw and a file.
