Sight Gauge

where is the oil pressure gauge hooked up out on a 89 chevy s10 tahoe?

i have a 89 chevy s10 tahoe that am trying to add a oil pressure gauge to and cant find the place to hook the tube at on the engine It's a 4.3L v6 single carb.

1. I have a 5L 8 in a 2000 van. A lot of these engines are used for several year models. My oil pressure gauge is to the left of the distributor. You will most likey have to install a T so you can hook up your after market gauge.....unless it has a output for the computer you will need both or have to look at red lights telling you there is no pressure detected.
2. If you remove the stock electrical sending unit and replace with a mechanical pressure switch the engine will not start.
