Sight Gauge

Where in central texas could I buy a Saiga 12 Gauge Shotgun?

I live in Central Texas (north of Waco), and I have been looking for a NEW Saiga 12 Gauge Shotgun. I also would like to get it customized. Also a very important aspect would be that it be, in the end, below 1800 dollars. I simply want one with basically a folding stock, front tactical rails, multiple magazines, and maybe upgraded sights. I do know that it must be registered with the NAFernment and takes about 4 months to get. Also I am 90% sure that you don't have to have 4 years military or police experience So Could I get some information on it.

  1. u only have to 922 it if u change the parts.....would suggest u find a normal non custom saiga 12 ga then convert it later on ** btw will be really hard to find a new one these days since import ban has been in effect for years..... and honestly u won't be able to find a "new" one with ur customizations......but u should be able to find some used ones already modified the way u want...
  2. I don't know if these guys are near you, but they do good work on Saiga Conversions. http://www.lonestararms.com/ Any decent gun shop can order you a standard Saiga that can be a base for conversion. They are out there, and good gun shops have suppliers that they can get one from *if* you have the cash. If that fails Lone Star Arms can be your one stop shop for both base gun and conversion. Be prepared to spend all of your budget, and maybe then some on the base gun and conversion costs. These Big Boy Toy's ain't cheap and will only get more expensive as time goes on.. EDITED TO ADD: Holy Hi Capacity Magazines Batman. I just checked on the price of Saiga magazines - about $50 each. That's pretty expensive to me.
  3. Market Hall...April 9 and 10 in Dallas on I-35 E...$8 admission.... You don`t have to pay $1800 or anywhere close, but you may pay more for magazines than you expect.

  5. Your not going to be able to. At this point in time they have ceased importation. It's not illegal but the ATF decided to rule on imported shotguns and it gave the importer cold feet. So at this point you will not find them new and if you do you will pay an inflated price.
  6. lol, yah dude you are so trolling. If you live in Texas then you could easily buy one at a gun show or budsgun shop then just go pick it up from an FFL guy. Saiga 12 gauges would only need to be registered if u wanted it to be full auto. You could buy one under the table and it would be the same as above the table, guns are all too common in texas. $1,800 seems like you might be getting ripped off btw...just my opinion though.
