- To below the add mark, but add oil as soon as you can.
- Oil pressure guage? 7 down to 4 PSI (really depends where the sender is mounted at) is usual for a car NEW.
- Any where between full and add.
- generally a car's dipstick is marked so that the area between full and add is about a quart of oil. That way you don't have to deal with partial quarts of oil sloshing around. So, don't add a full quart when the level is in between those two marks on your dipstick. If you want to say full just add a portion and see what that amount moves up on the dipstick. Do not overfill, it's worse to go above the add mark than to be between add and full.
- as long as it is between the two marks on the dipstick that is fine it is called the safe range for that reason. if it is a ford/mercury/lincoln engine how ever, use caution as the dipstick is not marked right.
- Fuel gauge or oil gauge. some gauges are liquid filled (partialy filled) and this is to stablize the pointer from vibration. or are you talking about the engine oil dipstick in which you should remove the word fuel from your question.
- Yes add more oil.
- To the lower limit, but only for a shortish time - top up soon!
