How to check the oil pressure, if the gauge is not working?

my oil pressure gauge is broken, so is there some other way to check the oil pressure on a 1999 Ford 3.0 v6 (Ranger pickup)

1. You'll need a wet pressure guage and the proper fittings. Hook this up to the port where the oil sending unit is located.
