Curious, would you ever date someone online?

Me, I prefer to meet someone in real life, someone you can see face to face rather than having to gauge if they are who they say they are....lot of nut-cases out there (no offense to those of you who do online dating.) Also, how many of you have joined a dating sight? These questions are purely out of curiosity because I know this is a controversial topic.

2. I guess I'm going to have to say never say never to it. There are people who I have ended up liking or attracted to that I never imagined I would. So who knows? Maybe one day I'll fall in love online.

4. I agree with on on preferring the face to face thing. But I wouldn't say that dating someone online is always a bad thing. I think that as long as you and that person have talked for quite awhile about everything before meeting, and upon meeting you make sure it's in a public place, it's not so bad. I have a few friends who have had very successful relationships from meeting people online.
5. Probably not because my idea of online dating is that you don't really know who the person is and you can't really know who they are. It is true also, there are a lot of crazy people out there. I'd be scared to put myself out there at risk meeting someone really dangerous.
