Summary: hex plugs are not very conducive for removal if they are drilled and tapped for brass tube fittings Try finding replacements for these suckers Some use cap plugs like this one Now these can be drilled and tapped but it s still would be a PIA to undo either end of the clear tube then fluid goes all over then loosen the cap plug Then it has to be reassembled
